Every review on this site follows the same method. We wrote this page so you can hold us to it, and so you know a verdict here is earned, not bought.
Our promise
We are independent. We write the verdict first, from the evidence, and only afterwards check whether an affiliate program exists. If you ever read a review that feels like an advert, tell us, because that is a failure of ours, not a feature.
What we look at
For each course, trainer, or certification body we weigh the things that actually decide whether your money is well spent:
- Recognition and accreditation. Who stands behind the certificate, what that recognition really means, and how to verify it yourself.
- Curriculum. What is taught, to what depth, and whether it matches the level being sold.
- Price, in full. The real cost including anything bundled or added later, verified and dated.
- Trainer credentials. The experience and lineage of the people actually delivering the training.
- Format and time. In person or online, live or self-paced, and how many hours it truly takes.
- Support and outcomes. What help you get during and after, and what past students report.
- Refund and terms. What happens if it is not right for you.
How we reach a verdict
We read the syllabus and the provider’s own materials, gather what independent students and critics say, and compare like with like across the market. Then we write a plain verdict with a strength and a weakness in the same breath, because honest reviews name both. Where we can, we show the reasoning in a table so you can weigh it yourself.
How we verify prices
We check prices against the provider directly and stamp each one with the month and year we confirmed it. Providers change pricing often, so we revisit and update. If you find a price that has moved, tell us and we will fix it.
The firewall between reviews and income
We keep the site open through affiliate links, explained in full in our affiliate disclosure. The person forming the verdict does so before affiliate status is known, and commissions never change a score. A program we criticise still gets the honest write-up even if it pays well; a program we admire still gets our recommendation even if it pays nothing.
Corrections
We will get things wrong sometimes, and when we do we want to know. If a fact, price, or accreditation detail is out of date or mistaken, write to hello@nlptrainingguide.com or use our contact page. We check every flag against the source and correct what needs correcting.
Who writes the reviews
Our reviews are written by licensed NLP practitioners who have also organised and marketed training events. We know the field from the inside, which is exactly why we hold the independence rule above so tightly.
